Who is Bower for?

For adults who want to meet people without being judged on a photo: people who are shy on camera, who want discretion (after a breakup, for professional reasons) or who are tired of swiping on pictures.

How does it work?

You choose a pseudonym and get a generated avatar. You say what you are looking for. In Discover, you see cards with a pseudonym, an avatar, a bio and intentions; a like on both sides opens a conversation. You can also send a direct message without waiting for a match.

How is it safe without photos?

Members can verify themselves with a selfie that only Bower sees: other members see a verified badge, never the face. Any profile or message can be reported from the app, and reports are reviewed by a person.

Is Bower free?

Yes. Creating a profile, browsing, liking and chatting with your matches are free. Optional paid options exist: Bower Premium (unlimited likes, see who liked you, advanced filters, incognito mode) and direct message packs.

Do I have to show my face?

No, never. Your profile uses a pseudonym and a generated avatar. The optional verification selfie is never shown to other members.

Is Bower available on iPhone?

Bower is available on Android through Google Play.

Who can join?

Where is my data stored?

In the European Union. Bower is built in the EU and follows EU law, including the Digital Services Act.
